Raúl Muñoz  was playing snare drums in the military marching band of his elementary school. The band was very solicited as it was the second best in the country. He graduated from the Metropolitan University of Science and Education with a license in Music, later studied in the Drummers Collective school of Manhattan and as well in various private classes with American drummers. His biggest influence is Jeff Porcaro, Toto’s drummer. He was also very influenced by jazz music, with drummers such as Art Blakey, Philly Joe Jones, Tony Williams and Max Roach. His band S.O.S in Chile became fairly known. They played songs of Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, Los Prisioneros, original songs and shared the stage with Alvaro Escaramelli. He arrived in the US in 2000, started playing with Miguel first, then was invited to join Los Chamanes.

 Raúl Muñoz tocaba caja en la banda de guerra de la escuela básica. La banda era muy solicitada ya que era la segunda mejor del país. Egresó de la Universidad Metropolita de Ciencias de la Educación con un Bachillerato en Música, más tarde estudió en la escuela Drummers Collective de Manhattan, y también en clases privadas con bateristas americanos. Su influencia siempre fue Jeff Porcaro, el baterista de Toto. También tuvo mucha influencia del jazz, de bateristas como Art Blakey, Philly Joe Jones, Tony Williams y Max Roach. Su banda S.O.S. en Chile fue bastante conocida. Tocaban canciones de Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, Los Prisioneros, canciones originales y compartieron escenario con Alvaro Escaramelli. Llegó a EEUU en 2000, empezó a  tocar con Miguel primero, luego fue invitado a integrar Los Chamanes.
